HCG Diet Lunch Recipes
Sometimes planning for lunch while on the HCG Diet can be the hardest meal of the day! You want something quick and easy, but healthy and filling at the same time. When people plan out their meals for the week, they tend to forget about lunch. This could be because lunch comes during our busiest part of the day. Or maybe if we are working during lunch, we just plan on picking something up at the closest fast food restaurant. Well here is an easy lunch that can be made the night before to help make sure you eat healthy and are full throughout the day while on the HCG diet.
HCG Diet Crunchy Asian Salad
2 c. romaine lettuce or spinach
1 orange, chopped
100 grams chicken breast
¼ tsp Chinese 5 Spice
1 /8 tsp garlic salt
1 dropper of regular stevia
1 piece of Melba toast
Citrus Dressing (recipe below)
Cook and chop chicken. Toss lettuce, orange, and chicken with Chinese 5 Spice, garlic salt, and stevia. Break Melba toast into small pieces, like croutons. Spray or spoon on Citrus Dressing.
Asian Citrus Dressing
¼ c. apple cider vinegar
1 c. water
1 TBSP fresh lemon juice
15 drops of clear stevia
10 drops of Apricot Nectar stevia
¼ tsp Chinese 5 Spice (optional)
¼ tsp garlic salt (optiona)
Dash of curry seasoning
Dash of cumin
Combine ingredients, pour into a jar, and refrigerate. This will be good for about 3-4 days.
Serving Size – 1 Protein, 1 Vegetable, 1 Fruit, 1 Melba toast
Other HCG Diet Lunch Ideas
Salads are a great meal option for lunch because they can be made in advance, and they are can be easy to transport. Salads can also be very versatile. Great add ins on salads are different proteins like grilled fish, chicken, or even grilled London broil. Then top it with a fun, homemade dressing that is allowed and you can have a salad every day without getting sick of them. When off of the HCG diet, you can add in other vegetables, raw almonds, or other items to spice things up.
