R1P2D1 Did I do that right? [Jodi's HCG Journey]

R1P2D1, did I do that right? LOL!
My goal is to lose 100 pounds, retrain my mind and body, and keep it off. I want to be a happy and healthy mother for my three boys and a happy and beautiful wife for my husband. Most of all, I want to be all of that for MYSELF!

Two days of eating anything I want? Bring it on! Or at least that’s how I felt before I stepped on the scale and took the pics. Somehow, I lost my appetite after that. Is that really what I look like? Dang. (My 5 year old took the pictures for me, so forgive the blurriness and slanted angles etc. as I go through this. Really, for being 5, I thought he did a nice job.)

Well, here’s to a better me! Here’s to never having to secretly cry after someone makes an insensitive comment.
For example, this just happened yesterday: Neighbor lady (Sue), hubby, and I were outside talking discussing our pending move to Phoenix. She told us how we were going to hate the summers there (she knows everything) because of the heat. My hubby remarks that he’ll love it because the [tiny little bit] of weight he has to lose will melt off. (Yeah, it really works for him like that!) Sue pats me on the stomach and says, “Well I can see where it all goes.”

Oh boy. I have a long way to go!

    Hi Jody,
Hey people that make comments like that to you are NOT your friends, so move on to the “High Road” You will find this diet pretty easy to follow, really a “No Brainer”. Once you find a good drop/eating schedule, things go smooth. Hang in there and you will be amazed at the results… I was !!

Didn’t say she was a friend, just a neighbor! LOL. I know better than to let it get to me, but it does. I lost about 1/2 a pound on a loading day! I was so surprised!
I really think this is going to work for me! Pregnancy was the only time I have ever been able to lose weight, despite my OBGYN’s putting me on a crazy high calorie “diet.” So why wouldn’t this work for me?
I am so excited about this!

      Hey Jodi,
I would love to Blog my story, but I do not belong to Facebook, so hopefully I can follow your story and we can help each other out when we need support.
Let me know if you want to have a fellow HCG support friend.

Great…. I am on round 1, Day 5 (Drops & 500 calorie diet)& I have lost 10 lbs ! I look forward getting on the scale every day now !! The first official diet day was hard due to the hunger, but all is well now, and the hunger is totally gone. I have much more energy now, getting up earlier in the morning. I really feel like I have made a good decision choosing this diet. :)

Sweet! So we are neck in neck! 10 lbs in 5 days is AWESOME! I hope my numbers are as good!
My sister did the injections a few years back with incredible results! She said she was starving the whole time though. I think the drops will be better because we can adjust our dose to help out with the hunger if need be.
I am having a hard time with the loading day, can you believe that? I am simply not hungry though! My boys are loving it. They were like, “Really Mom, we can buy THAT?” at the grocery store because we eat pretty ok (I just eat a lot!) as is and we certainly don’t ever buy anything that says Hostess on it! LOL!

Ya… like you said, maybe the drops DO spread out the level of dosage in our bodies better,so we are not as hungry. Everyone probably has their own way of handling this diet, so I hope you follow in my footsteps and do well without feeling deprived & miserable (I feel great !!). I have the same body structure as you, with about the same weight as well to lose,so let’s just think positive & maybe say a prayer or 2 for extra help from the “Man” above. Talk to you tomorrow

Prayers for you and me, check!
I hope we both (and anyone else who is trying this too, for that matter) have much success. It’s funny, but I am more excited than nervous/scared like I have always been on diets in the past. (Trust me, I have tried them ALL.)
This all just makes sense to me, I like how this addresses what to do after the “diet” which makes me not feel like “I really can do this AND keep it off,” and it’s cool all the support you get from everyone out there!

I am on day 3, so today is the day for the low calorie diet. I am cooking up chicken right now. I took a package, sliced all the breasts up and am weighing them out carefully and cooking up 100 grams at a time. I am then putting them into ziploc baggies and then into the freezer. I am hoping it will make it a little easier on myself come time to make and serve everyone lunch/dinner. Tomorrow, I will do the same thing with some shrimp, the next day some fish, and on and on.
I have been putting up my losses. You can’t see them? So far, on just my two loading days, I have lost 1.2 pounds. You can probably imagine how excited I am for tomorrow morning to come. It’s 11am here, so all I have had is green tea and water so far today. Getting a little hungry with the smelling of the chicken, but lunch is right around the corner! But I wasn’t feeling hungry until I started cooking. So far, so good! I am having to go to the bathroom like every 15 minutes or so from all the water! LOL! Whatever it takes though, right! I am sure my body will level that out some as time goes on.
