Day 6: Another full pound gone [Jodi’s HCG Journey]

Another full pound is gone. Yesterday was a lot easier than the day before. The feeling of wanting to devour everything in sight was not there! In fact, I had a really hard time eating all of my lunch. I ended up throwing some of it away. I wonder if that’s why I lost “only” 1.0 pounds instead of the 2.2 pounds like the two previous days.

I had shrimp for dinner, and I have been told that shrimp seems to slow you down. (Also, if you buy pre-cooked shrimp, measure out 75 grams instead of 100 grams. I didn’t know that until this cool lady on facebook said something.)

      R1P2D6 …. total of 6.6 pounds gone!

Next time, I will make myself eat all that food! I don’t want my body to go into starvation mode and keep me from losing!

I bet that’s why I “only” lost a pound yesterday!

HeeHee. Since that’s the biggest thing I have to complain about, I feel pretty darn charmed!

        Hi Everyone,
Going good !! I did go into ‘panic mode” yesterday, we were out with another couple looking at open houses and it took longer than we thought. Our friends were Hungary and said “Hey let’s all go out for dinner” OMG !!! I panic, but then I thought… ” You can do this Pat” We went to a very nice restaurant and when the waiter came to me I said… I want a house salad (no tomato) vinegar drsg (on the side)& a small bowl of strawberries. It felt like I climbed a mountain.. So yes… I had a very good day yesterday.

I haven’t ventured out into the real world yet! LOL!

Today I feel like I could though! This just keeps getting better and better!

Jodi, I love your idea of showing the scale. You are a brave woman and I’m excited for you! I placed my first order yesterday. I’m waiting to experience the moving scale(or moving in the right directon I should say).

Brave is a strong word! This is my way of keeping myself accountable!

Congratulations on your order. It will be there soon, although it feels like it is not nearly fast enough.

If you have facebook, get on yourhcg’s page. There is a lot of good information on it. Plus you can ask questions and everyone is so sweet and supportive. You get answers so fast that way.

I totally did my load days wrong. Eat FAT, not sugar. I went and bought everything that said Hostess on it and things like that. WRONG! Buy bacon, heavy cream for your coffee, real ice cream, etc. Just remember, FAT not SUGAR!

Keep on making comments, I love it! And of course, I will want to hear about your successes as well! 🙂
