Day 11: Down one pound even since yesterday, 13.4 pounds total [Jodi's HCG Journey]

I ventured out into the real world with a friend yesterday. It was nice to get out and see and do. Got the boys some BK through the drive thru in between stores and dang. It. Smelled. Good.

I handled it like a champ though. I ordered a black coffee for me, and had my Stevia right there by my side. I rolled down my window a bit and took in the fresh air!
We got to Wal-Mart and all that blasted Easter candy was surrounding me from all sides. I didn’t give in!
Long story, short: I was tempted, I desired, I wanted …. BUT I didn’t give in. My reward for being such a good girl? ;) Another pound is gone forever!!

You Go Girl !! The scale is a friend of ours again, go figure !! 2 lbs down this morning !! I ate 2 (1/2) grapefruits for my fruit yesterday and cut out the melba, I guess that was the ticket to halting my stall for the past 2 days. I cannot beleive it’s been nearly 2 weeks & I have taken off pounds that would have taken me a month or two on any other diet. Ya those fast foods can really ignite the smell/taste senses, but if we resist and walk away, it’s another mountain we has conquered. Looking forward to another weekend of “Power & Conquer” . Have an awesome weekend you girls!

Went to a Women’s Wellness Conference today, and learned a lot about how “us” women need to care for our bodies more. We alway tend to take care of our families & friends more than we do ourselves… It was inspiring/motivating, especially being on this diet. They had lots of wonderful appetizers & cocktails, but I took my power & conquered another mountain !!
