Today was a good day, I felt great,  I made some homemade chicken base, went grocery shopping without feeling like the chips aisle was calling my name & made an orange Julius.  I used a small orange, ice, a little bit of water and a few drops of vanilla crème stevia and voila; I think it tasted even better then the orange smoothie you can get at Orange Julius, especially since it doesn’t have the fat and high calories.

Beginning this journey I didn’t think I would be one to take the time to make some of the recipes and experiment; I thought that I could handle a plain vegetable & grilled chicken, I was so wrong & why would I ever want to do that to myself, there are some delicious recipes.  Plus by experimenting, it is making me spend more time in the kitchen preparing healthy food, every day I’m feeling more comfortable doing it;  which I know will help me to complete this HCG journey & beyond.  Not only for me but for my husband and son.

  3. Oh My! The Better then orange julius is a huge hit! My hubby loves it too!Cant wait to give it to the kids.! hmmm i wonder what the apple would be like or grapefruit!?

    Oh so glad it was a hit Belina! I had one today too, so refreshing. What I’ve been doing for my grapefruit is sprinkling it with cinnamon then heating it in the microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes. I like it but not as much as the apple w/ cinnamon in the microwave.
