HCG Diet Day 22 – Down another 3 lbs [Alesha’s HCG Journey]

HCG Diet Story – Day 22

(Day 22 for the HCG diet for Alesha)
Holy cow! I don’t know how I did it but I lost another 3 lbs on the HCG diet! After the gain yesterday (even tho I knew why I had a gain, not following HCG protocol) I was so much better getting in my water for the day and sticking to it. I didn’t expect such a big loss b/c I now can only have chicken b/c shrimp disgusts me in every way and I don’t like fish so that leaves me with the same meat for lunch and dinner. But I am sticking to the HCG diet protocol besides the meat. That means I only have 3 more pounds to go until I reach my goal of weighing less than I did last summer while I was breast feeding. That makes me feel good. It’s like I have accomplished so much in such a short amount of time.

HCG Diet Tempations

I did have to call my mom because I was willing to cheat on the HCG diet just so I could taste some “real” food. My mind said, “just get it out of your system, if you want it that bad then do it. Remember the repercussions and if you are willing then do it” but as my mom said, it could make me head for a stall that cannot be broken by an apple day or even just gaining way too much. She was right, I have had so much temptation in the past few weeks and I have made it thru all of it with out cheating. Plus I will be able to loose more with out cheating than I would gain from cheating. If that makes any sense. I still maintain, I would like something new and even the recipes I find just don’t help too much. To change it up I had Subway for dinner last night. I do have to say it was so nice to go get my food for once rather than cooking it. I ordered the oven roasted chicken salad with lettuce and cucumbers (their tomatoes didn’t look even close to being ripe) and topped with S & P and vinegar. It was so good, I almost thought I was screwing myself over. I do admit I “cheated” and had the smallest sip of my husband’s Coke and it was sinfully wonderful. Yes I am a pop girl and miss it tremendously. I was willing to deal with it if it screwed me over just so I could taste it.

HCG Diet Journey Summary

Well I have lost a total of 25 lbs in 22 days on the HCG diet so you can do it too! Just remember, don’t compare yourself to others in your losses. Everyone is totally different and you have to find what works for you. For me, I need to get at least 114 oz of water in a day and more if I can. I “plan” my meals as best I can to make sure I have the most fatty, if you can even say we get fatty foods, for lunch and the lean stuff for dinner. I cannot have an apple for my evening fruit b/c if I do I don’t loose or show a mild loss or gain. On top of that, I have to remain pretty sedentary. If I walk even the slightest bit or work or pick up the house I don’t loose much or stay the same. So hopefully this helps you somewhat in your HCG journey. I am determined to get to 45 days on the HCG drops and if I can mentally handle it, I will be coached thru to 60 days by Linda @ Your HCG. I am just glad I made it this far and am proud of what I have done so far. As always, every day is a new day, remember that.  This is day 22 of the HCG diet.

I tried a new way of having chicken… I bought ground chicken and made meat balls (spiced up with my favorite spices) and dunked them in mustard, they were “Delish”. Next time will add some sliced tomatoes and make it “chicken meatballs with tomato sauce” over shredded cooked radishes, should look like a plate of spaghetti !! I will let ya know how it is tonight!! i am getting more creative, as time goes on. Where the heck did everyone else go?? nobody but us left talking ??

I have been up and down so so far I have lost 25 lbs in 24 days! I am still happy with it. I will have to try that meatball recipe you mentioned. Needing to get creative if I am continuing to 60 days.

SO…… Are the both of you going to be on HCG for 60 days straight??? I have lost 26# in 28 days, so I am happy with that !! I have around 2 weeks left before I hit 45 days and I do not want to stop, it’s scary to me, so is it OK to go for 60 days without a break???
The meatballs were good, but the sauce I made from tomatoes was “Just’ OK. Get back to me about the 60 day thing..I would love to just continue to a total of 60 days instead of stopping.

Yes you can but they do not recommend it. It is best to be coached those last 15 days. I talked to Linda on the yourhcg facebook page, she said to check in with her at 45 days b/c most people need a break “mentally”. Hope that helps for you. Oh, plus they say only if you have more than 100 lbs to loose too!

OK.. So I WILL go for the 60 days !!! I do not have 100 pounds to lose, but I will be fine. Mentally I am good, I do not see a problem.

Well……….. The scale HAS been good to me this morning…. down 1.8 lbs !!! 2 lbs from 30#’S. After all my worrying about the back to back “Stall” days, it has all averaged out to around a pound or less a day, so I am happy with this. I am heading to the “teen numbers” soon, so that is my next goal. It is so great to have my husbands total support on this, he really roots for me every day before I jump on the scale, and comforts me when it does not move too. He sees how dedicated I am to this diet and how many things have changed for me as I lose more weight.. IT IS ALL WORTH IT!!! 🙂 🙂

Keep up the great work ladies! I did the diet for 44 days and lost 30 lbs. Had some ups and downs, cheated like 3 times BAD and some stalls. I’ve been off of it for about a month now and I’m down a total of 48 lbs. I can’t wait to hit that 50 lb. milestone! Hopefully by tomorrow or the next day! I just bought more HCG so will probably start the diet up again in a few weeks! Keep it up, this diet truly works…oh yea, and I feel like a million bucks!
