How to Make the Most Out of the HCG Diet
The HCG diet is a very simple diet that you will love! However, there are a few tips that can help make the most of your HCG dieting experience. The first and most important thing is to do the diet when you will have the least amount of distractions. The diet is very simple but it is also very strict. If you know you will have birthday parties, weddings or BBQs coming up within the next week or two then it’s best not to get started. Planning ahead will greatly improve your ability to withstand temptation while on the low calorie diet.
Only diet with HCG when you are fully committed. This is not a diet that allows for exceptions and occasional cheating. Dr. Simoens studied the protocol for over 20 years to determine the exact foods that will not only allow for best weight loss but also which foods will allow the HCG to reset your hypothalamus. Your hypothalamus is the part of your brain that controls your metabolism. When you diet with HCG and follow protocol for a minimum of 23 days you will be able to train your body how to naturally keep the weight off. Being able to do this is one of the greatest benefits of the HCG diet. Cheating on the diet is NOT worth it. Not only will cheating possibly interfere with the resetting of your hypothalamus but it generally causes a gain in weight and then a stall in weight loss that can last 3-6 days leading to more frustration and more cheating. Also, when you cheat before the 21st low calorie day we recommend to do an additional 21 days on the diet in order to ensure your hypothalamus resets.

The best advise when dieting with HCG is to know the protocol and follow it exactly. Following protocol will not only ensure that you have your best weight loss and are able to keep the weight off long term but it also helps the HCG to allow your body to pull extra calories from your excess fat which will keep you from feeling hungry or weak. When HCG is working, your body is able to pull all the calories it needs from your excess fat so you should not be hungry, weak or tired. When you eat off, it is harder for HCG to work with results in hunger and low energy.
And of course, the largest benefit to following protocol is the actual weight loss! It is fun to jump on the scale every morning to see how much weight you are losing! Make sure to take measurements as well so you can see inches lost even if the scale shows a stall for a few days, which can happen in any diet protocol. Some days you will lose above average and some days you may lose bellow average or even stall for a few days. However, weight loss averages to be between 1/2 to 1 lb per day for women and 1 to 2 pounds per day for men. Following protocol will help to minimize the stalls and plateaus you may experience and ensure that you are still losing weight even if the scale is not reflecting that weight loss right away.
