Here are a few recipes to help keep the hCG diet fun and enjoyable! These 3 recipes will warm you right up and when you are done (and full), you’ll forget you were even on the hCG diet!
Orange Ginger Chicken
100 grams of chicken breast
2 c. cabbage – cut into strips
1/4 c. water
Juice of 1/2 a lemon
1 orange – peeled & squeeze the juice and add the pulp to the sauce
1/2 tsp fresh ginger – slivered or grated
4 TBSP of Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
Salt & pepper to taste
In a small bowl add all the ingredients except the chicken and cabbage and whisk together. Place in a small frying pan and add chicken. Cook chicken until done remove chicken and add the cabbage with about 1/4 cup of water. Cook cabbage add back chicken until Cabbage to desired tenderness. I had my cabbage cut long almost reminded me of lo mein.
HCG Friendly Crab Cakes
100 g crab meat
1 Grissini (ground into powder)
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp tarragon
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp cayenne
1/4 tsp white pepper
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp seafood seasoning (optional)
Grind grissini into powder and place in a small dish. In a bowl, combine crab meat and remaining ingredients. Mix well and form into patties. Coat each side of patty w/ grissini powder. Brown in a non-stick skillet over MED heat for 3 mins each side, or place on
George Foreman for 4-5 mins. Serve immediately.
100 grams ground London broil or round roast
1 Grissini breadstick (ground into powder)
1 TBSP of milk
1/2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1 clove minced garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 425. In bowl, combine all ingredients. Then form into 1″ meatballs (makes about 6-7). Place in a baking dish on non stick aluminum foil and cook for 10 minutes, turning 1/2 way through.
