  1. I have Hashimoto’s Syndrome, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid. Is this diet safe? I have gained so much weight from this. I would very much like to get rid of this weight. Thank you very much!

  2. I have Gauchers Disease, an enzyme shortage disease that effects my white cell count and lipids. Is this diet safe for me? I do not take meds or have any treatment done and do take vitamins regularly.

  3. Hi Amy & Leslie – The HCG diet has been around for 50+ years with no proven long term or short term negative side effects. However, we always recommend that you consult your physician before starting any new diet program, not just the HCG diet.

    I have used HCG in one properly used cycle and lost 40 pounds. I have managed to pretty much maintain that lose over the last year with out using the HCG. I have decided to try another cycle as I am still about another 40 pounds from an “ideal” weight. I have all of the programs books etc. All I need is the HCG itself.
