Sample HCG Diet Meal
Some clients have complaints about limited choices while on the HCG diet. At Your HCG, we have done our best to help add variety to this diet. The diet is very simple however it is very strict. A basic rule of thumb is, if it’s not listed on the protocol, it is not allowed. Even a little ‘cheat’ will cause a stall or gain lasting anywhere from 3 – 6 days. And more importantly, a cheat may interfere with the resetting of your hypothalamus which allows for lasting weight loss- the major benefit of dieting with the HCG diet.
Basic HCG Diet Meal Protocol:
You’ll start off with breakfast. This should consist of coffee, tea or water. Black coffee can be hard to swallow, so feel free to add Stevia and 1TBSP of milk to your morning cup of coffee. Don’t exceed the 1TBSP of milk per day, or your loss could slow down or stall completely. I know what you are thinking “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” However, not eating solid foods for breakfast is only allowed when HCG is in your system because you are not limited to the calories you eat by mouth. By skipping breakfast when dieting with the HCG diet, your body can pull the extra calories it needs to fuel itself directly from your excess fat so you aren’t really skipping breakfast at all. Once the HCG is out of your system, you no longer follow the recommended HCG Diet Meal plan and you must start eating normal calories and eating breakfast.
Lunch and dinner are very similar to each other. You are allowed an approved protein, approved fruit and approved vegetable for both lunch and dinner, along with 1 piece of Melba toast with each meal. When planning your HCG diet Meal, Dinner does not have to be the exact same choice that you had for lunch but rather chosen from the same list of options. The approved proteins are chicken, white fish and more. The vegetables help add quite a bit of variety to your HCG diet Meal plan. You can have onions, cabbage, radishes, asparagus, and quite a few more! Your fruit options while on the HCG diet are strawberries, ½ a grapefruit, oranges, and apples. If you tend to have a sugar craving, the fruits listed on the HCG diet protocol are great because there are recipes to help it taste like dessert.
Tips to help add Variety to your HCG Diet Meal Plans:
Spices will always help to add variety and interest to your foods. Most spices are allowed as long as they are a true spice. Ideally you want to find spices that only list a single ingredient. Check for oils, sugars, vegetables and miscellaneous ingredients listed on the spices (ie- “spices” “other spices”- if it doesn’t give details, it’s safe to assume it’s not HCG diet friendly). There are recipes in the member’s only blog at Your HCG as well as the “HCG Diet, Tips and Recipes” cook book. Using recipes will help to give you ideas to add variety to a HCG diet meal, while ensuring that you are not eating off protocol so you can get your best weight loss.

Where do I go to get the list for the foods I need to buy. I will start after Thanksgiving. I guess for Christmas it will just be me and my dog. I really hope I can do this. I have to friends that lost lost of weight and they look great. I need to lose 10-to 15 lbs. I am a little afraid I will get too hungry. I love and live to eat. How do I control this? Thanks for your help.
One more thing I am a Vegaie. I wonder if you have a plan for me?
just to say you’re not alone. I start tomorrow and scared to death of the hunger pangs. I need to lose between 25-30 lbs. I guess the only way to control this is by keeping busy ! Good Luck
Hi Grace:

Glad that I found a person on the same day as me …

I purchased HCG for myself as a Christmas present; I need to lose 45lbs for my 5’3 frame. I have spoken to close friends who have friends who have been on HCG and have had successful weight loss. I am looking forward to having my smaller body back; after 4 surgeries in a 5 yr period & one of them was my hysterectomy, I am excited to see the outcome of HCG. I will weigh in tomorrow morning & keep my journal during this 30 day process & take a before/after picture to have as my testimony. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas & may God Bless, heal, protect, provide, & prosper each one of you & your families. Good luck to all HCG members.
We do have options available for vegetarians.

I’m anxious to get started as well. Just received it in the mail. My goal is 15 lbs. Wish me luck!!!
Started HCG 4 days ago. Of course the best part are the load days. I’ve made it thru these two days though. I feel confident that HCG will work. My goal is 20-30 lbs. I’d be estatic for 30 but very happy for 20. Best of luck for everyone on HCG.
I am in my third week….and have seen great results….down from a large tee shirt to a small….yay….don’t worry about being hungry….it don’t happen….hungry goes away for good….
This diet works. I did it before I got pregnant and lost 25 lbs. I am about to do it again to lose my pregnancy weight.
its hard for the first 2 weeks but once you get through that and break those bad habits of snacking and gorging it is a piece of cake.
Really need to lose about 80lbs. Have tried almost every diet you could think of and I lose weight only to gain it back. Worried about trying again to only gain it back. Willing to try it though. Need prayers
Ann, you will be astounded and amazed! I didn’t think it would work for me, and I just bought more drops, because I have more to go! Keep it up sister! You’ll do fine! I did the 30-day diet the first time. All I had to think about was “it’s 30 days out of your life” – you CAN do it!
I started the HCG diet and lovvve it!!! it has been 5 days and i already lost 6 pounds… best diet i have ever been on… sucks watching people around me eat snacks tho… but i know that i will look great when this is done.
Just got the drops….Cant wait to see the results….
This is my 1st week I have already lost 6 pounds, my goal is at least 80. I to had a hyster and the hormones the gave me packed with steroids so I packed it on,, so far so good, was little depress yesturday had a bad day at work and yes was wanting a pop…salty snack but I said know cause I made a vowel to my self. and it wasnt bad.. so to day normal and cant wait see what the scales say to night.
My question is…..if you do this diet and lose weight, when you stop using the drops will you gain the weight back even if you continue to eat the same?
Can I workout while I am on hcg? I only want to loose like 10-15 pounds, but I work out 5-6 days a week. Is that okay to continue?
Thanks
Hi Amanda, I am just starting this diet. I have done a lot of research and it says to walk one hour a day and that is all? I am not sure but if you work out up to six days a week, there has to be more calories eaten? I have about sixty pounds to lose and would like to continue going to the gym. It would be nice to know what to do different! My cousin was on this diet and still went to the gym, but she did not have good results? She only lost ten pounds in 40 days and she was considered to be starving herself? Good luck and if they say no gym, do not do it!!!
I was on HCG last year and it was great. I was hungry for the 1st 2 days but after that I was fine. I was losing 1 to 2 lbs a day everyday. I was excercising as well and it was helping me firm up as I lost the weight so it is good that you excercise while taking this so you wont become flabby, otherwise it is much harder to get rid of the flab after all the weight is lost.
I done the HCG diet last April and lost 45 lbs. I have kept the weight off and I only good things to say about the diet. Make sure that you stick strictly to the diet. I would do this diet again!!!! But so far I have reset my metoblism and it has been wonderful. I eat what I want now, I just don’t want all the junk I ate before. Good luck to you all. This diet does work!!!!
Getting information. Heard about people taking the shot and now I hear About the drops. What is better and why?
So today is my first day after loading.
I have 40 pounds to lose. I usually swim every day or second day – not sure if I can still do this. They say no heavy exercise, but they dont say what they consider heavy.
For the two loading days – I put on 5 pounds!
Lets see how it goes………….
Hi
I am in my 70′s, is this a healthy diet for me?
I just started last week already 6 pounds down you have to be very strict with yourself but it totally is working so far
HI Wennette – Great job on your loss so far! Definitely stick with the diet 100% for the best results!
Starting tomorrow, and I have a few questions:
When is the best time to take the drops?
What is the hcg normal meal plan consist of?
Hi Jennifer – Did you purchase from Your HCG? If so, give us a call or chat with us. We can help walk you through all of your questions including how to take the drops and the diet protocol. If you purchased from a different company, you’ll want to contact them for their directions as they can vary per company.
I have a history of blood clots (pulmonary embolism). Is this safe for me?
Hi Cheryl – The HCG diet has been around for 50+ years with no proven long term or short term negative side effects. However, we always recommend that you speak with your physician before starting any new diet program.
I started last Monday 6 days and I am down 10 lbs, I need to loose about 30 more. I did this last year and I want to tell you it works. I just didn’t stick with the maintenace part soon as I got through the 30 days I started eating just like I always did, it stayed off for a while but I didnt give my body a chance to reset my metabolism. It does work
Hi Teresa – The diet definitely works if you stick with both the low calorie diet & maintenance phase!
Good luck on this next part of your weight loss journey.
I have been on this diet for 28 days and I love the results. I have lost 22 pounds so far. It was hard at the beginning but I got used to it. I plan on doing a third round but have to wait six weeks. This diet is great.
Hi Lori – Glad to hear you are doing so well! Keep it up
Great goods from you, man. I have understand your stuff previous to and you’re just too excellent. I actually like what you’ve acquired
here, really like what you are saying and the way in which you say it.
You make it enjoyable and you still take care of to keep it wise.
I cant wait to read much more from you. This is actually a wonderful
website.
Will I be able to use vitamin squeeze water enhancer on this diet? (In the ingredients it said it used stevia.) and if yes can I substitute that for my breakfast meal or coffee?
Hi Heidi – It would depend on all of the ingredients listed. If you ordered from Your HCG, you can call us at 877-748-2709 or chat with us at http://www.yourhcg.com/contact. We would be able to say yes or no on the item. If you ordered from a different company, we would recommend that you follow up with them to see exactly what they allow.

I need to lose about 100 pounds, I don’t know if this is the right diet for me, but I want to try it. Would you recommend doing the 30 day or the 60 day?
Hi Andrea – With 100lbs to lose, I’d recommend the 60 day. The reason is that we are having a promotion right now that is buy one, get one free, so you’d get 2 – 60 day programs for the $199 plus shipping price. The average loss during that period total would be on average 60-120lbs, so if you didn’t get to your goal, you would be close. Feel free to call us at 877-748-2709 or chat with us at http://www.yourhcg.com/contact and we can discuss it further if you would like.
