The HCG diet has proved to work for hundreds of thousands of people since it first originated in the 1950s. Dr. Simeons did years of research before making the diet public. His research included testing HCG on both men and women to ensure both received optimum results.

Any adult (at least 18 years old) who has a BMI over 20 can use the HCG diet. HCG does not interfere with any medications, however it’s always recommended you consult your physician before starting any new diet program. Typical results do vary.

The average HCG Diet Weight Loss:

30-day program – average loss for women is 15-30lbs, men is 20-40lbs

  • · Try adding a glass or 2 of green tea to your day.
  • · Don’t eat 2 apples for the two fruits or cut down on the size of the apples.
  • · American beef is fatty. Cut it down or out. Seafood and chicken are much better choices.
  • · Check all condiments for any form of sugar.
  • · If mixing vegetables, stop.
  • · Try leaving out one or both bread sticks or Melba toast.
  • · Try adding 2 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar to your daily routine.
  • · Grapefruit is a known fat burner; add a serving to your diet.

The only way to get results with the HCG diet is to stick with the HCG diet protocol exactly. If you want the absolute best HCG diet weight loss, it’s best to follow the HCG protocol exactly.

    First of all, English is my second language :)
    It is my day #7 on HCG Diet.
    I feel great!!!
    Although, I have a concern. Iam a nurse. I have to work 12 hours night shifts( sometimes). I am worrying about following HCG protocol on schedule. I am coming home in the morning…I have to sleep for few hours… Any sugestions please?

  9. Yes, you can exercise while on maintenance. However it is VERY important to keep your weight within 2lbs of your last dose weight. If you start to lose weight, you will need to eat more in order to stabilize. It’s best to start with some low impact exercises, then work your way up.

    I stated the hgc diet and i have to admit , I was skeptical, but i lost 9 pounds in 12 days, and for me that made me believer! I am not hungry and I do have energy, more than before as a matter of fact. I have had NO side effects, no headaches, no nausea, no nothing, only but GOOD side effects, energy, motivation, and weight loss :)

    I will be starting the hcg phase 1 for the first time tommorrow. I am very nervous, but you guys post have made me more relaxed. I was very leery because I have high blood pressure and was fearful that it would spike it up, but from all the people I’ve asked, they’ve said it actually lowers it. Several people claimed they had high blood pressure as well and that it normalized it. So I’m very hopeful, and just pray I can do this successfully

  14. Hello! My husband and I began HCG phase 2 yesterday. Both of us were down this morning, me at 3 1/2 lbs, and my husband at 6 1/2. We know this is water, but it is a nice start. Neither of us really felt hungry yesterday, but if you’re used to having breakfast, it’s a little hard mentally to not have breakfast, but we are doing fine. Good luck to all!

  15. I started the HCG drops 3 days ago and have already lost 6.8 pounds. I was so skeptical but now I am a believer. This is the first time in 16 years that I actually feel like I might be able to get back to my “pre baby” weight!!! I have no side effects and feel great!

  17. I have done the HCG drops before, it was successful. I did it two years ago and lost more weight than I could have ever imagined. Just keep to it. I got back to my high school weight.. and I am almost 30. I put weight back on and decided to do HCG one last time to begin my life style change of eating healthy (trust me eating what you want.. doesn’t make you happy or your body healthy). I plan on losing 30lbs. I started the 500 diet on Wednesday, and I am already down 7.4lbs (in 4 days!)… this works. My BIGGEST tips: lemon water (burns fat) in the am.. as much H20 as possible, and green tea before bedtime (burns calories while you sleep).. this always pushed me to lose more. also.. try to sleep as much as possible.. weird, I know, but you would be shocked at weighing in after a nap!   18. I started drops 5 days ago and have lose 6.5lbs. I was very leery of this 500 calories. I feel great! I have 2 kids (8mos & 5yr) and I was very concerned that I would not have enough energy through the day but surprisingly, I have made it through. I would like to drop another 25 lbs before its all said and done.
